Microsoft Windows

1. Open component folder

Open Grasshopper in Rhino and click on the File/Special Folders/Components Folder.

2. Move plugin files

Move your downloaded files into the Libraries folder that you got opened.

3. Unlock the app

Unlock the app by right clicking the .dll file and click Show more options (only in Windows 11).

In the newly opened context menu pick Properties.

In the newly opened properties window tick Unblock and click OK.

4. Repeat the process with the .gha file.

5. Restart Rhino.

MacOS

1. Open component folder

Open Grasshopper in Rhino and click on the File/Special Folders/Components Folder.

2. Move plugin files

Move your downloaded files into the Libraries folder that you got opened.

3. Unlock the app

Unlock the app by opening the contextual menu for .dylib file and click Open. In the opened modal confirm that you want to open the app. After confirmation, Terminal window is opened which you can close right after that. This needs to be done only once to unlock the app.

4. Restart Rhino
